TV Shows I’ve Been Loving

Hello everyone! For today’s post, I wanted to talk about something a little different than usual—tv shows! I don’t often talk about what I’m watching, so I thought it would give you some more insight into my likes. If you know of any similar tv shows that you think I’d be interesting in, please share as well!

This is the show that inspired this post idea! This Apple TV original is a satire about Emily Dickinson’s, but with a modern twist! It was so well done in my opinion, and the actors all did a phenomenal job of making this show what it is. It’s funny and witty, and full of drama. If you liked Bridgerton and want to watch a show that’s from the same time period but takes place in America, this one’s for you!

The Crown

If you, like me, watched the Meghan Markle interview with Oprah, then you may be super fascinated by the rest of the royal family now. I have had The Crown on my list of shows to watch for months now, but watching the interview made me jump straight in! I’m on season 2 and so far really enjoying it. It’s a lot more slow moving than I expected, but it also covers a lot of history/time.

I’d really love to pick up some historical fiction books based on the royals, so if you have any recommendations, please send them my way!

Night Stalker

Aside from my fascination with the royal family, I’ve also always had an interest in true crime. Netflix has come out with or added tons of crime docuseries recently, so whenever I have a free weekend, I will just go through one of them! This one made my skin crawl, but I enjoyed it as a whole! Richard Ramirez is terrifying, so I am surprised I didn’t have nightmares after this one. If you’re not someone who can handle murder, I would obviously not recommend it. But if it’s something you like learning about, it gave a lot of information and was super thorough.

What are some of your favorite tv shows? Have you seen any of the ones I included? Hit me with your answers in the comments!

  1. I think I saw s1 and s2 of the crown and I really liked the insight into the mysteries of the family. I got out of the show but after this Oprah interview I might go back into it! :P

  2. I also love watching true crime docuserie. I don’t know if you’ve watched Mindhunter but if you haven’t, I really recommend it. I don’t want to give it away but it’s based off real life cases of series killers and it is mindblowing!
