Hey loves! Today I am doing a post talking about some of the books that I recently added to my TBR because these are books I am excited to read but I either 1. won’t get to them anytime soon or 2. they’re not out yet. These are books I still want other people to know about, but there is no good way to mention them on the blog.
Let’s take a look at what they are!
My Dark Vanessa by Kate Elizabeth Russell
I got an ARC of this at Bookcon a few weeks ago and it sounds so interesting. It was blurbed by Stephen King, so obviously I have to read it. It’s a story about a teenage girl and her sexual relationship with her teacher. It is definitely going to be a hard read, but hopefully a good one.
Deposing Nathan by Zack Smedley
In all honesty, I don’t really know what this book is about. HOWEVER, my friend Boston (Boston Reads Books on Youtube) talked about it at Bookcon and said it was one of her favorite reads this year. I actually just won a giveaway for an annotated copy of this book from the author, so I hope to read it soon!
Twice in a Blue Moon by Christina Lauren
Everyone knows Christina Lauren. This author duo has come out with some very popular romance books (which I have not read yet. It’s tragic, I know). All I know about this one is that it follows an actress who runs into her first love on set one day. This is right up my alley. I love reading books about Hollywood, so I really hope I love this one.
The Tenth Girl by Sara Faring
I’ve talked about this a lot over on Twitter, but I am absolutely dying to read this one. I have not been able to stop thinking about it ever since I heard the synopsis. It follows a school that is supposed to have 10 students, but one of them goes missing. I will not say too much about this one as mystery/thrillers are best when you go in blind. Everyone should add this to their TBRs immediately, though.
By the Book by Amanda Sellet
I saw this book on Twitter a few days ago, and I honestly only added it because of the cover. It is gorgeous and has books on it, so of course I want to own it.
That is all for today’s post. Leave a comment letting me know what books you recently added to your TBR. I would love to add some new ones. Thanks for reading :)
