It is day 3 of Blogmas! Welcome to a new post, where today I’m going to share my recent purchases from BookOutlet (aka one of my favorite booksellers ever). This is also going to be my last book haul for a really long time because as of 2019, I am not allowing myself to buy anymore books until I get my TBR down to under 40.
Anyways, here are the books I got!
The Good Liar by Nicholas Searle
This first book is a mystery/thriller that I thought I’d get out of the way because I only added it to my cart to make my total equal $35 so that I would get free shipping. I don’t know too much about it, but when I read the synopsis it sounded interesting enough.
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee (special edition)
The main reason for my entire purchase was so that I could get this book! To Kill a Mockingbird is one of my favorite books of all time, and I’ve talked about it many times before. This edition was just so pretty and I couldn’t pass it up! This is probably one of my favorite books I own.
Before We Go Extinct by Karin Rivers
This is another book I purchased just to get my cart total to $35! This is a YA contemporary and once again, I don’t really remember the premise. But the cover is really pretty, and I’m sure I’ll love it.
If We Were Villains by M.L Rio
I am so so excited about this one! I wanted to read it because I’ve heard Kayla (BooksandLala) talk about it on her booktube so many times. I trust her reviews so much and we have pretty similar tastes. I am positive I will love this one, and I am so so excited about it!
You by Caroline Kepnes
When I saw this on BookOutlet, I knew I had to get it. I’ve heard so many amazing things about this, and there’s a show on lifetime about it! I wanted to read the book first, so I’m excited to finally own it.
An Unkindness of Magicians by Kat Howard
The last book I got after hearing Merphy Napier talking about it in so many of her videos! The way she talks about books just makes me want to read everything she suggests. This is an adult fantasy novel (which is not really my thing), but after hearing her rave about it, I really wanted to read it.
Have you read any of these books? Let me know what you thought of them if you did!
I really want to read To Kill A Mocking Bird, it’s been on my TBR for so long!
