I love read-a-thons! They are a great way to get yourself to read more books, and it can be so fun to interact with others who are participating! Today I am going to show you my TBR for wonder week read-a-thon hosted by Rimpys Reads! Go check out her post if you want to participate :)
The read-a-thon takes place from March 18th-25th, and the goal is to read 5 books. There is a bingo card included that lists all of the challenges, so the goal is to complete a line of challenges in any direction (like bingo).
Here are the challenges I am doing:
Fantasy- The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender
I own the audiobook of this novel and I have been dying to read it since I saw Hailey (from Haileyinbookland) talk about it in a youtube video! I think including an audiobook in a read-a-thon is a really good idea because I can get through it quickly.
Mystery- The House by Christina Lauren
I have been loving mystery/thriller books recently, so I knew I wanted to include this challenge in my TBR. I have heard some good things about this book, so I want to read it ASAP. It is definitely more of a horror book, but it could be classified as mystery so I will include it anyways (shh).
Pick Your Own- The Universe of Us by Lang Leav
I haven’t read a lot of poetry recently, and since this is the only un-read poetry collection I own, I decided I wanted to pick it up! Plus, poetry is quick to read.
500 Pages- The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson
I don’t know if I will be able to finish this book during the one week this takes place (along with 4 other books), but I am going to try my best. Everyone in the book community raves about Morgan Matson, so I know I definitely need to pick up at least one of her books! I really hope I enjoy it.
Re-read- To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
I have been planning on re-reading this book for months. I wanted to annotate it now that I own a copy, so hopefully I finally get to it!
That is it for this TBR! Let me know if you are going to participate in this read-a-thon, and let me know what books you are going to read!
Xo, Jess
Morgan Matson is one of my favourite authors! I haven’t read that book of hers yet but I’m really excited to, it’s on my TBR 🙌🏻

Yay for annotating! I feel it makes a book so much more special.
